Dusk. What a beautiful time of the day! A time also depicted as the hour of the defeated as in Saki's masterpiece "Dusk". An hour when men and women who fought and lost, who hid their fallen fortunes and dead hopes as far as possible from the scrutiny of the curious, came forth with their bowed shoulders and unhappy eyes just so to pass unnoticed or unrecognised. While the other side was haunted by the people who held their own in life's struggles or at any rate had not admitted failure. The world has indeed turned people to become heartsore and increasing unemployment has generated an inclination to take a certain cynical pleasure in observing others as they walk their ways in the dark stretches. Twilight fell as the sky turned to a light dusky red, littered with shiny silver stars and yellow glimmers of the far away windows. Always surrounded by clouds of melancholy and sadness faced by the storms of the life, he was indeed one of the non admitters. Clouds came floating into his life no longer to carry rain or usher storm. But to add colour to his setting sky. The challenges of life and those clouds are in a sense just like dusk. So Impactful! But I believe this is a time when things are linked in a way that there cannot be one without the other yet they cannot exist at the same time. In the setting sky a large drop of sun lingered over the horizon and over it was a torn cloud of sadist vibes like a bloody rag hanging over it. As dusk set in to create the heights of character using the highest depths of suppression the setting sun gave us an opportunity to reset.
